Position Summary

Southern California Edison Management shall provide this position’s assignments to TRC. This position performs QC inspections and audits for multiple disciplines on substation construction projects. This position develops new or improved methods for the analysis, interpretation and/or acceptance of existing construction methods and standards.

 

Preferred Experience

  • Strong written and oral communication skills. Experience in overall Quality Management with direct responsibility for inspection of the discipline or disciplines required.

  • Direct experience (1) at the foreman level or above in the trades to be inspected or have the equivalent combination of experience and education in a directly related field; (2) in engineering; or (3) extensive expertise in a specialty field directly related to the Quality Management required.

  • Strong written and oral communications

  • Strong skillsets in Microsoft Office products and phones

 

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Inspect multiple construction projects of all disciplines

  • Self-starter able to adjust schedule to support construction project needs.

  • Able to manage multiple projects

  • Communicate with engineering to help resolve construction issues

  • Develop and maintain Book 1’s

  • Write Construction Issue Reports for all issues that are found in the field.

  • Attend Pre-engineering meetings and provide feedback to the responsible engineer

  • Able to follow multiple manufacture installation instructions
