Position Summary

The Substation Construction & Maintenance (SC&M) Project Manager 1 will be responsible for supporting multiple projects with oversight.  The Project Manager 1 will work throughout the Southern California SCE Service Territory to provide capital project management support to the Test, Maintenance and Operations.   

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Required to manage the construction phase of multiple substation construction projects

  • Long term planning of construction projects

  • Accountability for cost, schedule, quality, safety and systems integrity with minimal direction, continual change and under time constraints

  • Candidates must demonstrate the ability to work with minimal supervision, and to communicate clearly both orally and in writing

  • Ability to communicate effectively and with impact, maintain positive working relationships and exercise tact and diplomacy in dealing with multiple parties

Preferred Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or related field of discipline

  • Substation Construction experience or Project Management in related fields

  • Strong technical and administrative knowledge of Substation Construction
